Chrono Cross: TRDE - 22 - The First Branching Path
3*Read description / SPOILERS OF FUTURE EVENTS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED*
Kid comes up (out of nowhere) to raid Viper Manor and find out why Serge is a wanted "ghost."
Key Notes:
- There is no real difference if you don't decide to recruit Kid here (if you turned her down). You may as well recruit her now and exploit her Pilfer tech to get extra items to sell.
BRANCHING PATH
- This is the first branching path where you can take one route of three to infiltrate the manor. Depending on the choice, you'll get a character:
1) Go to the bar and talk to Guile to take his path.
or...
2) Go to the ship docked at the port and board it to take Nikki's path. Notably, this path contains more story significance for Nikki than the other two paths.
or...
3) Go to Zappa's smithy and talk to Pierre, and then reclaim his lost emblem from the kid running outside to give it back to Pierre and have the option to do his path (FYI, compared to the other two...and everyone else in your party, his stats suck).
- For my first pick here, I'll be picking Pierre's route.
