We have waited 4 long years since the very first initial trailer debuting Chrono Odyssey, the ambitious 'next-gen' MMORPG, using unreal engine 5 and as well a time bending mechanic that affects the story and gameplay but in 2025 Npixel and kakoa games just dropped some major news: a closed beta test is arriving in June! The main question will this mmorpg that finally breaks the mold for the genre, or is it just another pretty face? Right now the mmo genre is pretty dry for new game releases like sure we have Thrones of Liberty, as well as Pax Dei, Ashes of creations and even blue protocol resonance arriving but with the current genre just seeming dry we need something fresh and new to really bring us mmo enjoyers back into the genre. We've been seeing multiple trailers for a while to generate hype, but now we're getting our first real taste. Let's break down what's coming in the beta and what Chrono Odyssey is truly aiming for.
