Chuck Jones' Timber Wolf - Ep. 3: "You Go, Squirrel Friend" (Native 4K)
This is a native 2880x2160 4K rip/recording of the entire 13 episode flash animated series created by the legendary creator of much of the original Looney Tunes cartoons; Chuck Jones, which would also end up being his final work (originating in 2001) before his passing in 2002.
For this series, Chuck Jones brought back two of his very long time partners since the dawn of Looney Tunes; Maurice Nobile and Bob Givens. Both have also passed on back in 2001 and 2016 respectively (the final released 13th episode is even dedicated to Maurice Noble). Also working with Maurice and Bob on production design and color was the creator of El Tigre and The Book of Life; Jorge Gutierrez.
The series was primarily directed by Chuck's at the time protégé; Stephen A. Fossati, who worked with Chuck on much of his 90's Looney Tunes shorts, and even directed Pullet Surprise starring Foghorn Leghorn, and Father of the Bird starring Sylvester. The series was animated in classic flash animation (and literally released in tiny .swf files on Warner Bros. Online's website in its day) by the Canadian animation studio Atomic Cartoons, who would right after create Atomic Betty.
The entire 13 episode series on their original .swf files were miraculously saved, preserved, and uploaded by someone who seemingly was named Fred Edison onto his website: http://frededison.free.fr/

The series here was ripped/recorded using Swivel, which you can download here: https://www.newgrounds.com/wiki/creator-resources/animation-resources/swivel-flash-to-video
While most episodes were able to be recorded without issue (it had to be manual due to the mini-game in each file preventing an automatic recording from taking place), a few episodes had to be recorded in 4K, but the audio would cut off every time. Luckily re-recording the episode in 720p would retain the audio in full-quality (if you set it to the highest quality at 320kbps). I think would easily rip the audio from that using Avidemux's "Save Audio" feature. But you have to crop it at the right frames of both recordings to sync them properly. All-in-all everything came out perfectly. Far better than my 1080p uploads from Jan 2021: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsb1JGqrgpyF1CCjkPeFUxbPIH9hwVmtL
The 1080p versions were recorded with Camtasia and had issues; audio desync, some frames missing, and even screen tearing. None of which are present in these. Also some episodes have lower-quality audio, sadly this is from the source files as is. Nothing I or anyone can do about it. They could've been compressed to reach a certain size threshold that they couldn't reach otherwise, is my guess.
Enjoy Chuck Jones' Timber Wolf in native 4K for the first time in history!
