Here is the follow up to my aiming guide, where I demonstrate a few aiming exercises. It's always important to be mindful of 'why' you practice certain exercises, and to visualise the situations they will be used in.

If you want to skip the rambling near the middle/end, go to 13:12 where I re-state how to develop your own exercises.

I'll be releasing a video on 'Duel Strategy' for inexperienced players within the next 48 hours, so watch out on the Quake Champions subreddit or subscribe to catch that.

*Tracking Aim*: The first exercise I showed, which appears to be for 'flick pinpoint hit-scan' aiming, also trains 'tracking' aim. If you're slow, consistent and deliberate as I describe,; that is how tracking is done.
When I learned to aim in Overwatch a few months ago; I used McCree and Widowmaker for training my flicks. Once I was relatively good at flicking, I was surprised to find that my tracking control on Zarya and Tracer was suddenly very good. It goes to show that the first exercise is all about improving mouse control in general, not just flicks.
