The Original Game Boy is one of the biggest 'game changers' in the history of video games, and essentially ushered in the popularity of handheld games. There are many games that will be classic forever. There are, however, a much, much higher number of simply awful, forgettable, or downright weird games. CiB Game Boy Theater shows you some of the games you might not (and shouldn't be...) familiar with.

Ahh, The Game of Harmony. It's another ---excellent--- puzzle game. No, in all seriousness, this is a decent puzzle game --- or, whatever it is. It's kinda boring, but it's definitely not even close to the worst game I've played. I like the idea of the game, but it's so bare-bones (not even Game Mode A and B, or something like that) that it barely counts as a game.

Heeeere we go, Fist of the North Star. The NES version is infamous for being truly awful (and it is). How does the GB one stack up? Well, it's definitely better. It's not... good... it's not even okay, it's just a Game Boy game that exists. A 2D fighting game with extremely limited moves, and the only way to win is by cheesing. Yep, sounds about right. Pretty impressed with the music, and graphics though. It's just a completely not fun experience. Why would we think anything different, 53 episodes in? Thanks for watching!
