CiB Let's Try - Alien vs Predator (SNES)
Alien vs Predator was released in September, 1993, as a SNES exclusive. It was developed by Jorudan, a Japanese-based developer, who is probably best known for Musya and Imperium for SNES (and not much else). AvP was published by Activision.
Before you get your hopes up, the SNES AvP and arcade AvP are completely different games, and the arcade one is much better.
First of all, I can't believe this is just a single-player game. I know the title is singular, mentioning only one Alien, and one Predator, but there are a million Aliens to fight against, and there are definitely multiple Predators that exist in this universe. Beat 'em ups like this are always best multiplayer, so it's a surprise and a shame that it's just a single-player experience.
Besides that, the game is about as average as can be, which is a shame considering the source material would work well for a game like this. There are definitely better beat 'em ups on the SNES, even if you don't want to go to Turtles in Time or Final Fight. Thanks for watching!
