Cities: Skylines is a city-building game by the Finnish game developer Colossal Order and published by Paradox Interactive. Video game journalists perceived it as a competitor to 2013 city-building game SimCity. On 10 March 2015, Skylines was released on digital distribution service Steam for Windows, OS X, and Linux with an Xbox One version to be released at a later date. An expansion for the game, titled After Dark, will be released worldwide on September 24th, 2015 for the currently released platforms.
