When you play AGAINST Suleiman it can be quite frustrating - he knows how to push buttons - but playing AS Suleiman is quite enjoyable.

The Ottoman empire once sprawled its way into what-is-now Europe/Africa/Asia and was basically THE cool kid on the block for a while. Ruled by a dude named Suleiman, the unique abilities in
Civilization V involve cheap and effective navies. Melee units get the Prize Ships promotion and that means every once in a while they will capture an opposing ship to your side - useful to say the least. Further, water-based unit maintenance is reduced.
