Clash of Clans Guide! The GoVaHo Attack Strategy for 3 Stars at Town Hall 8 in Clash of Clans. This TH8 how to guide briefly summarises the GoVaHo attack strategy key points and also demonstrates the strategy on a few different base designs. The GoVaHo and GoVaLo Strategies work hand in hand and follow the same key principles, either using Hog Riders or Balloons to take out the back end of the base - this will be mainly determined on Air Defence positioning. The GoVaHo attack is best used when the Air Defence are pushed to the outsides of the base and will target your Balloons if attempting the GoVaLo strategy. Regardless of your strategy the main points are:
- Take out enemy clan castle troops (double poison recommended)
- Create a funnel using Golems to distract (these are key for the rest of the attack too) and wizards following to take out the trash buildings.
- Send in your Valkyries to the core of the base once your funnel is created. I recommend Earthquake Spells to get to the core and a heal right in the centre.
- Target your Hog Riders (or Balloons) on the defences on the back end of the base. Your troops in the core should still be distracting at the point.
- Recommended on bases mainly with big open cores that Valkyries can get in and tear up - or if there a Double Giant Bombs that are tricky to set off.
