Clash of Clans War! Back End Hogs with GoWiPe Attack, 3 Stars at TH8 and TH9 in Clash of Clans. The Strategy 'HoGoWiPe' takes your standard GoWiPe and adds force to the back end defences so that all are taken into consideration. These hybrid style attacks mainly started becoming popular when clan wars was released. A lot has progressed since then but if you are used to GoWiPe style attacks and want to make transition to 3 Star planning - use of back end troops is the ideal place to start. Town Hall 8 is the perfect place to learn how to use hybrid attacks in my opinion but as you can see this will build you towards Town Hall 9 and above. Your standard Clash of Clans GoWiPe attack applies in getting your strong troops to the core of the base, once they are distracting the defences on the far side, back end Hog Riders or Balloons (defence targeting) can be brought in to make up the HoGoWiPe or LoGoWiPe Hybrid Attack. This may seem simple straight forward to some people (and I encourage your input in the comments below) but for others maybe try bring troops for the back end defences and see how it works out.
