Classic Game Room reviews the VG POCKET CAPLET released in 2006, a portable gaming console with a bright 2.5" LCD screen that contains 50 games including Space Invaders and Burgertime.... but what happened to it? Could game's like Wolfy's Adventure, Craig the Caterpillar, Deep Storm and Blaze of Glory not keep the audience hooked? Was the 2.5" LCD screen just too small? Or was it released with horrible timing to compete against iPads, iPods, smart phones the DS and PSP? The VG Pocket Caplet has a nice screen and some interesting games, including a number of fairly predictable puzzle games. But sadly this thing was too little too late and fades into the history as another piece of hardware that just didn't make it.
