In this #masterpiecefriday edition of #thedailydoug, I'm completing my journey through Tales from Topographic Oceans by Yes. This classic 1973 double concept album has four side-length songs, each loosely corresponding to a set of Hindu texts. And, I've now dedicated four episodes (one for each side) as I listen and react. Side four is Ritual (Nous Sommes du Soleil), and I am pretty sure that this side is my favorite of the four. It's a beautiful and satisfying ride. I hope you enjoy!
