Clock Tower 3 is a survival horror game developed by Capcom for the PlayStation 2. The game follows the story of a 14-year-old girl named Alyssa Hamilton, who travels through time to save her ancestors and prevent a powerful evil from being unleashed upon the world.

The game begins in 2003, when Alyssa receives a letter from her mother, who disappeared years earlier. The letter urges Alyssa to travel to London to uncover the truth about her family's past. Once there, Alyssa discovers that she is the last in a long line of "Rooders," a family of time-travelers who use their powers to prevent evil from spreading throughout history.

Alyssa learns that her ancestors were once tasked with defeating a powerful demon named Lord Burroughs, who was sealed away in the 14th century. However, Burroughs has now been resurrected, and it is up to Alyssa to travel back in time to defeat him and prevent him from unleashing his power upon the world.

Alyssa travels back to the 14th century, where she meets her ancestor, Simon, who gives her a magical staff that she can use to defeat Burroughs. Alyssa must navigate through the dangerous medieval landscape, facing off against various monsters and solving puzzles in order to reach Burroughs and defeat him once and for all.

Throughout the game, Alyssa encounters other Rooders, who have also traveled back in time to help her on her quest. Together, they uncover the truth about Burroughs and the role he played in their family's history.

In the end, Alyssa manages to defeat Burroughs and prevent him from unleashing his power upon the world. She returns to the present day, where she reunites with her mother and discovers that she has inherited the powers of the Rooder family.

The game ends with Alyssa vowing to use her powers to protect the world from evil, just as her ancestors did before her.
