• Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (2024) Part 49
This is a series of #attempts of "Final Fantasy 7 #Rebirth's" infamous 3D Brawler #minigame challenges. I would like to add that while I do bitch a significant amount in the opening of this video I love #Rebirth (it's my Game of the year). I think it's very faithful to the original #Game. I merely take issue with the amount of extra "content" that has been added which I really feel does little more then stretch the experience beyond what was needed. I loved #Gambits in #FF12 too but this really had no place being in this #Game in such a limited capacity. Yes, I will die on that hill.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is an Action-roleplaying-game with strategy elements. The player controls #Cloud outside of combat for the most part with the combat components comprising of a party of 3 with real-time attack/combos and strategic/magic/positioning. Materia acts as the games central component which can be slotted into each character affording them an array of battle skills. Weapons and accessories are equipped into each character which is where the player slots their Materia. There are other optional gameplay (minigame) opportunities outside of battle but combat is the core feature.
"Final Fantasy VII" (the original) was released on January 31 1997, "Final Fantasy VII Remake" was released on April 10 2020. The "intergrade" moniker was added to the June 10 2021 re-release for the PS5 with some "Yuffie" DLC by Square-Enix (formerly Square-Soft). "#Rebirth" (the second outing of the #Remake series) was released 29/02/2024 by Square-Enix (formerly Square-Soft). The game was directed by Tetsuya Nomura, Naoki Hamaguchi & Motomu Toriyama.

This particular playthrough will be experienced on the #playstation5 with default settings on "Normal" difficulty... and after no doubt on "Hard" difficulty as full completion is usually tied to achievements and I'm trying to 100% the game inspired by my most favourite game ever (FF7 OG).
You will be pleased (or maybe annoyed) that my voice will be heard on this video in the intro (no doubt shouting profanity from time to time - or making idiotic remarks). For the most part however, the video will lack commentary for various rage purposes that I wont go into.
