Initially released in 2009, though this is the slightly updated 2010 2.02 version.

It's an amusing, solidly constructed, worthy homage, albeit insanely difficult to make any progress much like the technically brilliant original by Joffa Smith based on Sylvester Stallone's movie of the same name.

I had to crop, upscale and de-noise the video due to the limited display resolution options that make it difficult to capture pristine footage in full screen. Maximum dimensions are 1280 x 800 and recording only really works in window mode. Forget to use the stretch option and you end up playing in extreme letterbox perspective. Urrgggh!

The game also includes a retro graphics switch to authentically transport you back to 1986, though you may as well play the Speccy edition to experience those.
