The influence of Pogs in the early 1990's cannot be understated. Everyone wanted in on this -- EVERYONE. We've opened up Pepsi caps in the past, which gave us the "Pepsi Wizard" meme, but Pepsi wasn't the only soda company looking to make a buck on the Pogs craze. Coca-Cola got in on it too so now that we've opened up a pack of each... is it gonna be Coke, or Pepsi?


Personally, I think the Pepsi caps had a lot more variety and personality, but the Coke caps are strange in their own way. Namely... the bear. You'll see. The Coca-Cola polar bear seems to have been drawn once (as well as other assets) and was just plopped down into cap art. He's making the same expression in all of them, and it's hilarious. The Pepsi caps gave us the "Pepsi Wizard" emote in chat, and these Coke caps gave us the bear which represents a sort of "are you being serious right now" emotion.
