I think this needed to be made, a surprising amount of people still don't believe this to be the case. Also fps caps do not work in cod4 singleplayer.

What I'm doing here is a wallrun, the velocity it gives you will vary depending on the angle, so you can see i don't move the mouse at all during these tests, i think i got the optimal angle on both games, however mw2 was slightly slower since the level i used is slanted very slightly upwards, and running up/down slants will lose speed.

It seems to have diminishing returns, the difference from 60-125 is bigger than from 125-500, but it's still enough to matter on fairly simple strafe based maps. This is a big reason why i can't beat some of my old 2012-13 times, since i would get closer to 600fps back then.
