This dual commentary just came out of the blue. We thought we could answer some very common questions about how to make game play videos.

I use the HD PVR to record game play from my console to my computer. Then I use Sony Vegas to edit the videos into a format that is ready for YouTube. I used to record my commentaries with a $20 microphone from bestbuy and it got the job done for me! Last but not least, you need a computer that can handle HD playback, otherwise it will be extremely difficult to properly edit your videos and it will take a lifetime to render them.

We also want to encourage everyone that really wants to make videos to keep going! It takes a tremendous amount of patience and great videos to really get noticed. There's no perfect formula, but if you can find a way to have fun and make videos that your friends/subscribers are confident in sharing with others, you should see success come to your channel.

More people are coming on YouTube every day. Video games will be coming out forever! There will always be a game to show off while talking about whatever you can bring to the table.
