CoD: MW2 Akimbo Model 1887 Port Test (Experimental) - Mod Bytes (S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, LotZ)
Replaces the SPSA14 with the Model 1887 (akimbo) from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009). Made for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky from the Legends of the Zone Trilogy (tested and recorded on Xbox One). Installed using the mod.io platform. Adaptations to other consoles (if needed) are welcome.

An experimental modification (that is fully-working, mind you) that tests how akimbo (dual-wielded) weapons operate on the console version of this game. Things like adjusting weapon positions, muzzle flash effects, etc. would require config file edits, which would not be approved for console mods. To put this together on PC, I had to use a series of camera tricks. To bypass the need for config edits to achieve this, I've made the player's arms invisible for CERTAIN SUITS ONLY;
No outfit (obviously, if no outfit is equipped)
Leather Jacket (excluding the Bandit variant)
Sunrise Suit
Exoskeleton
Wearing any other type of armour with this weapon equipped will make the player's arms clip into the two guns that you see on this mod's thumbnail. It isn't recommended for one to use this mod with other mods that adjust first-person arm textures or any of the animations/meshes/textures for the SPSA14 shotgun. A lot of improvisation was required to get this mod working on consoles. Some very minor teething issues may be present on the weapon model. Your understanding is much appreciated, even for those who aren't fluent with modding the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. This mod also uses the exact same file structure as the vanilla game, minimising any technical issues. At present, no crashes were encountered by myself upon using this mod. Even though this is a weapon port test, this mod was still published with the intent of being made available indefinitely for players to use in their own games.
Mod Bytes is a series in which I simply publish edits of the smaller mods and projects that I've been working on. There's no fancy stuff or complicated edits here. Just the mods themselves. Such videos tend to be shorter in length and don't feature any complex edits or artwork like my mod trailers tend to do.
