Code of Princess EX (2018, Nintendo Switch) Gameplay Footage

I put some time into the 3DS game and loved it there and when I saw this was getting released on the Switch I was ecstatic. This is a side-scrolling beat-em-up type game with a huge roster of characters. There are some RPG elements such as leveling up and item management but I’d say it’s really more of an arcade style beat-em-up in regards to gameplay. The story, cut scenes, and art direction is excellent. I must admit that the 3D on the 3DS gave the game a unique experience due to there being 3 rows in the field, but the updated graphics and textures for this release are excellent. Another major change is that there are no longer English voiceovers with only Japanese audio and English text.
