Code Vein in Broad Strokes
I know I skipped on level design or the bosses but let me cook
The level design of Code Vein is almost entirely a straight path, the only split with the fire path lasts two areas and then is done like this is Cathedral of the Deep or something. Only thing I'd say is that the church of sacred blood fuckin sucks. that's it
For bosses, they're all much easier especially if you remember to use spells. I don't see a point talking about them when they feel like longer enemy fights though the phase 2 music for the successor fights... perfection.
Overall I feel like this came together a lot better than I originally thought though the fact that I never got cutscenes in my original run, and found out that the DLC dungeons are, in fact, NOT optional kinda ruined my momentum. I think I intended to go back and fight the Hellfire Knight but... eh.
MUSIC:
Code Vein - Main Theme
Life if Beautiful (from Deadly Premonition)
Heir of the Shingai
Memory of the Lost
One-Winged Angel (from Final Fantasy Advent Children
To everyone who bothered to read all this, and by extension probably watch the video... thank you, thank you for being here and giving my work a chance.
