Having excellent testing tools means that with enough trial-and-error, any bug can be fixed!
Generally it's poor practice to design for performance while fixing bugs, however here other developers keep asking, "Does this fix all known bugs?" so I am attempting to develop a panacea and make the code referentially transparent (easy to understand and debug) without losing Elo. It would be far easier to "start over" and fix the bugs however I wish, but maintaining that ~3000 Elo rating is important to users so I don't have a choice. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/toadofsky
