Staying at Eoghan's in Inverness was a suddenly surreal experience. WE COULD GO TO STARBUCKS, GET COFFEE AND BE BACK HOME WITHIN 10 MINUTES! We stayed a little longer though, and went to Morrisons - BUT THE POINT STILL STANDS. When you walk everywhere, your sense of distance to time is reverted back to what it originally always was, but every since we first discovered that we could tame horses, that perception has been totally flipped around - but it's not such a bad thing, as long as we are grateful for having it! :)
