Cold War has a Hit Detection problem - Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War Hit Detection
Cold War has a hit detection problem because of course it does. Or does it? Truth is, Cold War may not have any hit detection issues at all. It may be new attachment balancing and effective damage range/bullet velocity. These new balancing decisions appear to make the gunplay a lot more clunky and inconsistent, leading us to believe that Cold War's hit detection is horrible. And truthfully it might be, but Cold War's attachments and strafing speed may be to blame as well.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War has had a rocky start due to low development times and lack of content. But additionally, like most new Call of Duties, Cold War's hit detection seems to be worse than most. Hopefully they balance the game and address the issues, but as it stands right now, Cold War hit detection gives the game a clunky and inconsistent feel.
