Collider Arrow Recap and Review - Season 4 Episode 21 "Monument Point"
The Collider Arrow Recap crew discusses Season 4, Episode 21 "Monument Point" with series regulars Ann Campea, Josh Macuga, Michael Medina, and Jason Inman.
This week on the Collider Arrow Recap Show, Ann Campea, Josh Macuga, Michael Medina, and Jason Inman catch up on the hit CW series discussing tonight’s all new episode.
Oliver Queen will team up with Felicity Smoak's father Noah Kuttler as Damien Darhk's Genesis plan draws near. Previous Arrow Big Bads have tried to destroy Star City. That’s nothing new. Damien Darhk, on the other hand, is thinking bigger.
We witness the return of Brick (Vinnie Jones) and his failed attempt to kill Noah before Noah can dismantle Rubicon and Darhk's plans to nuke the world.
That’s obviously bad news for just about everyone not associated with HIVE, especially since nuclear launch codes came into play. That means that even things like Oliver Queen learning magic need to be on the table, and so, apparently, does teaming up with villains to combat a greater evil.
Interestingly, Monument Point is a real location from DC Comics, a city located near Washington D.C. The Justice Society of America even set up shop there for a bit, with original Flash Jay Garrick becoming mayor.
On a more pressing topic … what about Thea? She’s trapped in some weird Pleasantville-like simulated town with no apparent way to contact Green Arrow and her other teammates. Her and daddy Merlyn find themselves in yet another team up to fight off Anarky, a villain who just doesn't seem to go away.
With just two episodes left after this week, Arrow Season 4 is headed for a finale that could turn out to be the biggest one yet. We will have to wait and see if Oliver, Felicity, John Diggle and Lyla can stop the Genesis and save the world.
We discuss all of this and lots more on this week’s episode of Collider Arrow!
Arrow returns with an all new episode next week on Wednesday, May 18 on The CW.
