When Gideon's Crawler moves, you can either make a bombing run with Vertigos if you're playing as Support Class, or if you're playing as Defense Class like me, hold one of the Stations with 5 Obelisks, and as many anti structure units as you can, Gideon's Crawler should be safe the first time it pops up near your base. Don't let Gideon's Engineers capture all the Stations, or it is mission failed instantly, so keep a back up Engineer near the northern one (the least defended), or he might not come to your defended one last anyway.
