Command & Conquer Generals Modding - Updating the W3D Importers
Was contacted about an issue with models which use skeletons. Turns out both the Coolfile and Seagle W3D importers are broken in a very specific scenario.
Originally identified for mesh 'AIRNGR_F_SKN' / 'AIRNGR_F_SKL'. If the skin file has an identical bone name to the mesh file, the mesh file overwrites the bone and no bone is importer.
Fixed.
Downloads:
Both importers:
-- 'w3d 1.06a.ms' is my preferred importer (no animations)
-- 'w3dimporter 1.07a.ms' imports animations
