I left the black power supply that sports the embossed commodore logo on it plugged into an commodore 64 that was left on for between 12 and 16 hours. This gives the unit ample time to warm up and fail if there is an issue just waiting to present itself...the main thing we want to see is if the 5 volt side of the supply has changed over these many hours...
