The demo features a main character reminiscent of Braid, with a hi-res overlay that looks impressive and animates smoothly. Although the backgrounds give the impression of being done in extended background mode, they are actually standard multi-colour hi-res (Johan has plans to implement ECM later). The atmosphere is wonderfully immersive, with a few enemies to shoot along the way. At this stage, there isn't much to do beyond exploring the multi-directional scrolling areas of the castle environment, but the demo offers a promising glimpse of what could evolve into an outstanding game.
