Communist Mutants from Space is Absolutely fantastic! Coming out in 1982, Starpath's shooter used the Supercharger, a piece of hardware that plugged into your cartridge slot and then into a cassette player. All the Supercharger games came on cassette and had access to the extra memory on the accessory.
