Community Service Week 7
2Special Week - 2 Great Songs! Pay careful attention to both..I'll be referencing "After the Thrill is Gone" in an upcoming video. I'd had "Desperado" pre-picked for this week since before I started this series..."After the Thrill is Gone" fits perfectly for another topic and since both are likely to be pulled from YT soon, I opted to combine them together.

This is something I have wanted to do for several years. Each week I will link a song that I like. All you have to do is check it out and let me know what you think!
I am interested in if you have, or have not heard of the song/band/artist before. If you have, feel free to share any stories. If you have not, what do you think? Is the song worthy of being added to your Music Library? What do you take away from the song?
I've got fairly eclectic tastes in music ranging from classic rock to grunge, to a wide mix of country, and alternative. It seems as the years go by it gets harder and harder to find "good" music and more importantly, I am always shocked at how many people have never heard so many great songs.
Taste in music is subjective....I could go thru 52 Weeks (1 Year) of this series and you might hate every single song I post. That said, if I post one song that you like, it is worth it. Similarly, I might post songs that you recognize, but never really "knew."
If you keep an open mind, I'm almost positive you'll find something new to add to your library, or get stuck in your head. You can most certainly expect a heavy does of the 90s...you're welcome!
I can complicate this with stories about the songs, when I first heard them, what they mean to me, or we can keep it low key and let you listen for yourself.
Obviously, due to copyright issues I can't post up the songs, but I will link you to lyric based videos when possible. Let me know what you'd like to see and we will take it from there...you are welcome to suggest songs you think I'd like that I might not be familiar with too. If folks enjoy this, we will keep it going!
