Companion Movement Demo | INTEREALMS
A short video showing an early iteration of the following system that will be implemented for Companions / Pets.
----------------------------------------------
INTEREALMS is a massive crossover RPG being developed independently by Rispwind. All assets shown belong to their original owners. The project is being developed for fun and is intended as an art project with no intention of a public release.
INTEREALMS Q&A:
Q: When will the game be released?
A: INTEREALMS is a personal art project and I have no intentions of releasing a public build. While a public release down the road was previously the plan, I have decided that out of respect for the owners of the various represented franchises that I will refrain from it.
Q: Are you making money from this project?
A: My YouTube channel is monetized and that is the only form of income that can be tangentially tied to this project. I do not accept donations for the project and have no intention of releasing the project for profit (see above).
Q: Why work on a project that won't be released?
A: I've been working on a variety of projects in my free time for years. My intentions with this project are to test my own skills in programming and game direction. Much like is seen with the other content on this channel, I like to produce art conveyed through mediums and franchises that I love.
Q: What other projects have you worked on or been involved in?
A: I've worked on a number of Five Nights at Freddy's fangames over the years and also was a member of the Clone Wars Adventures Emulator project under the online alias "Celrek Rispwind" for a while. I worked primarily as a map designer and was a major collaborator in the production of the Felucia Combat Zone in the public singleplayer demo and also am responsible for some of the new seasonal decorations in the Jedi Temple that were not present in the original game, namely the Halloween reskin of the Jedi Archives.
Q: How are you making INTEREALMS?
A: INTEREALMS is being developed in Unity 2021.3 utilizing the Universal Rendering Pipeline.
Q: How long have you been working on INTEREALMS?
A: The "Legacy" iterations of the project date back to 2021. Some of the later iterations (dating to 2023) can be found in this channel's history. Definitely check those out if you're curious to see how my vision has evolved!
Q: How big is the INTEREALMS project?
A: Game file size is not particularly important due to my inability to publicly release the project. I can, however, share that the Unity project size is over 150 GB as of writing this on September 15, 2025.
Q: What part of developing INTEREALMS is your favorite?
A: I have absolutely loved finding fun ways to blend various series that I love. Having characters like the Mimic from Five Nights at Freddy's riding a BARC Speeder from Star Wars with a pet Eevee from Pokemon is something I never thought I would see, but INTEREALMS has made a reality. It's a shame that I cannot share a playable build, however I hope that my continued showcasing of content on this channel will allow you all to experience some of this same joy.
