Comparing AMD Hardware Encoding with Software Encoding

After uploading the Hitman 2 fullgame video i noticed some unpleasant qualityloss, significantly more than in other games. Especially after movement and in green areas (gras/trees/hedges etc.). Im aware that hardware encoding in general isnt as good in terms of quality as software encoding so i tested software encoding with similar settings. I recorded in OBS, didnt change too much in the settings:
- 4K60fps
- Ouput Mode: Simple
- Recording Quality: High Quality, Medium File Size
- Recording Format: mp4
- Encoder: Software(x264) and Hardware(AMD)
