I did some encoder deep diving for my stream setup and tested the Intel Arc a770, RTX 3050, RTX 4060, and finally the Arc a310. This was purely for OBS encoding! Not Plex servers. OBS encoding is more demanding because it needs to be relatively real-time to process all the data in a small window before it moves on to each frame.

My streaming computer is an AMD 3900x with 32gig RAM I built about 5 years ago.
