Comparing No More Heroes 1 and 2 with a bike ride.
3Santa Destroy changed a lot in NO MORE HEROES 2. Sadly, the option to freely roam the city was removed in the second game, making it difficult to fully understand what changed. Cut maps give a good indication, but are these canon? This is a simple video recreating the bike ride from NO MORE HEROES 2's credits, but in NO MORE HEROES 1. This allows us to better understand the sections of the city we know and love that changed in the second game.
There is also a second layout for Santa Destroy used in the post-Charlie Macdonald cutscene. This map is missing crucial locations from the game such as the motel, Destroy Central, and the UAA office, and has many other inconsistencies with the map used for the bike ride. My guess is that this map was probably used to prevent skyscrapers from blocking Glastonbury in the shot, while still making the city's stature look impressive.
