For the longest time, Playmates Toys only seemed interested in doing toys from Godzilla vs. Kong, and not from the other MonsterVerse films. However, in 2022, Playmates announced new figures from each of the previous films in the series, and of which we got a figure for Godzilla, Kong: Skull Island, and Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Since then, Playmates has released more MonsterVerse figures for the other entries like Monarch: Legacy of Monsters & Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, but here, we are revisiting the first 3 non-GVK MonsterVerse figures Playmates had ever produced!
