During one weekend in 1993, to promote the release of Star Fox for SNES, Nintendo held high score contests at roughly 2,000 retail stores in America. The cartridge they used was a specific one made to keep score (normal Star Fox didn't have score - thanks Ben!), and to end after 5 minutes.

25 years later, and crazy people like myself seek out these cartridges as collector's items - this is one of those cartridges. Picture below:
