For this year's Complete in Shocks, I found the absolute worst-rated Steam games that cost $4.99 on less. We're in for quite the ride...
The Tower is another game that could be YOURS for 99 cents. This is definitely the best presentation of all the bad games we've played, but it commits an unholy trinity of design flaws --- the game is way too dark, it has no subtitles, and the save function apparently doesn't work.
This is one of those games that you might boot up and think 'this can't be that bad', then you start to play it. I can't explain how poor the controls are. I've never played a game before where I get stuck walking down a wide-open hallway, but, here we are. I was hoping this was a 'Walking Simulator' but it ended up having sneaking sections - hard, hard, hard pass. Thanks for watching!
