It had been awhile since I had played A Plague Tale, and with it being on Xbox Game Pass, I played enough of it to catch up to my PlayStation progress and I wanted to see the end of the game.


Here, we explore some of the castle that we located with Hugo, and we decided that I needed to get to the library in the main university. This required navigating our way through the streets littered with bodies. The Inquisition were killing the citizens that had been infected with the plague. They were not even trying to help the citizens.


We then found out that the Grand Inquisitor has been infected with the plague and he is using healthy blood to keep him sane and alive. We also met a new friend that helped us escape, and has a weird bloodlust for killing soldiers.


Finally, we went back home to find a laboratory to make a cure for young Hugo. This was a very harrowing end to the evening as it took a lot of fighting the rats, but we made the cure and gave it to Hugo.
