Confidence Intervals: probabilities apply to generator, not instance

I was being critical of a statement by my statistics teacher, but later realized, after bringing it up to him, that his point was actually related to the probability associated with the provided generator of confidence intervals rather than an instance of one.
While my critiques on the semantics may be well founded and correct, by guess at what my teacher was actually getting at may or may not have been accurate. I still need to go back and attempt to remember. At the time, it made me want to add to this video before continuing and I kept a lot of videos hidden for a while as a result. I still have not added to it.
