I create my first Connectables combinations! They’re hot stuff! (As the jingle in the ad said in 1989).

Connectables was a toyline released by Matchbox in 1989-1993 that featured vehicles that could split into multiple sections and be reassembled to create outrageous combinations!

There were a few sublines that were created as the line expanded including: Extenders, Micro, Convoy, Action Series and Motorised in 1990, followed by the Aviation Series and Light ‘N’ Sound in 1991, which was followed by Crazy Limos and Powertronic in 1992. Connectables would split in two with the normal line and Rescue Force.
