Conor Mcgregor & Floyd Mayweather After Match Interview
Watch the AfterMatch Interviews of Conor Mcgregor & Floyd Mayweather
Conor McGregor is usually so measured and clear in his interviews but he was obviously spent at the end of 10 tough rounds.
'The Notorious' still claims to hold two UFC belts [featherweight and lightweight] but we would not be surprised to see him box again in an effort to improve his 0-1 record.
There is no shame in McGregor losing to Floyd Mayweather Jr. and he will look back on his professional boxing debut as a learning experience. A profitable, learning experience.
"I was just tired," he later told reporters. "I was just bolloxed, that's what we call it [in Ireland]."
The 29-year-old won as many plaudits for going 10 rounds with Mayweather, and troubling him on a couple of occasions, as for his frank, funny post-fight interview with Showtime's Jim Gray.
"I’m just happy," McGregor said. "I’m draped in the flag, happy I was able to bring my team along, the country with me and just getting to perform for a different crowd.
“No one’s taking these type of risks, so f**k it, lay into me all yiz want, I’ll take it on the chin."
There was a common complaint with McGregor's interview and it was not just American audiences that were getting confused.
Anyone who is familiar with McGregor's interviews will know how sharp and considered he is when he speaks. At the end of his fight, though, McGregor's Irish accent was much thicker and scores of fans were asking for help. Earn Money Via: https://patreon.com/invite/mznlbo
