Sorry for the lack of videos of late, CB has proven to be EXTREMELY addictive and I find myself spending too much time playing and too little making content. Today, the first video in the Deep Cuts series, where I take a closer look at some part of the game.

As some of you may know, there have been some questions about whether the various unit upgrade nodes actually apply their listed benefits or not, and today with help from House-mate Doubtful I have determined the following:

Unit-specific nodes, those unlocked with VETERANCY POINTS earned through leveling up that unit, DO WORK. General Unit Tree nodes, those unlocked with HONOR earned through battles, quests etc, DO NOT WORK.

It is therefore a good idea, for now, to not spend valuable Honor Points on those Unit Tree nodes, and instead save them up for when this issue is resolved, or spend them unlocking higher tier/additional units. I do not know as of yet if the devs are aware of this bug or if it is in effect for all nodes of this type, but I will attempt to make sure they see this and see if we can get a response.
