If you're a tad confused as to what am I doing, look at the blue bar on the top left. As you can see, that blue bar regenerate quite quickly, far faster than normal.

That's my friend, is an infinite energy glitch. And as the name suggests, the energy bar (the blue bar) will never depleted until you reset your game. And yes, it will persists through levels as well.

This ain't a recent discovery as we have known this glitch for years now, but this method had just been recently discovered about a couple of days ago.

Note: This method that I'll transcribe is only for the PSP version, as different versions required different method.

What I did is to time my final push of the block into the hole right as the energy tics during its replenishment. If time right, or you wait until the bar is full, you can guarantee to get the glitch.
To test it, try spraying water as Water Hazard, or blow up cold air as Big Chill. If the energy doesn't deplete you got it. This is useful as several required fights in the game does require an hefty amount of energy. Like 2-cycling the second Vreedle Brothers fight in Amazon or Psyphon fight in Colloseum.

My theory on how's this works is that the game have two internal state that dictate whether you're in a fight or not. We'll call these "combat" state, and "free" state. One good indicator on what state you're on is the bar itself. If the bar tics fast, you're in a free state. If slow, you're in a combat state.
However, and this is a speculation, a bug in the code when exiting as the energy is about to refills one sector will cause the energy bar to constantly be refilling as you exit the combat state.
The reason why this method works is that the two phases within the Enoch boss fight is considered as two separate fights, transitioned "seamlessly" with the cutscene. However, because of that, the game does considered you to be in a free state momentarily.
So, if you time the push right as the energy bar ticks, the energy bar will glitches out, allowing for practically an infinite uses of energy.

And yes, of my theory is true, you could achieve this with the regular enemy as well, though this is tougher to perform.
