0Released exclusively on the Sega CD, Captain Tsubasa is a sports based RPG that was developed and published by Tecmo and released exclusively in Japan. Captain Tsubasa is based on the 80s Manga and Anime series of the same name which ran from 1981 to 1988.
Unlike most football/soccer games you don't have full control of a specific player or team, instead you play as the main protagonist of the series Captain Tsubasa and choose from a selection of timed actions with your decisions playing out on the field.
