Well, more of a hull test. Comparing the drag of this boat against the drag of the much smaller, lighter previous solar boat. I put more time and care into this boat's hulls than the last one hoping that the newer bigger boat would be close to matching the performance of the old one while being able to carry 10-20 times the cargo.
