The good thing about Sailfish OS is, that it is based on Linux instead of Android (which is not Linux anymore and hasn't been for years) that you can access the smartphones files unfiltered if necessary.
This gives you the option to do a lot of different, smaller or larger changes to your smartphone as long as you know what you are doing.

But who does? And for all those who are not sure about how something works and how to change things, PatchManager gives you a great option to use predefined patches (in general) without doing any harm to your device.
(at least not for more modern Sailfish OS versions newer than 3)

In this episode I am going to show you how to install and use patchmanager and what it can do for you. :)
