This is a port that Infidelity has done entirely within hex, using the SNES emulator Mesen for all of the work. Infidelity has ported over the Famicom version of Contra, which uses the Konami VRC2 mapper. This version is superior to the US version, which is why Infidelity decided to port the Famicom version. All in-game gfx are 4bpp. Rom is setup as FastROM & HiROM.

New Features

*multi msu-1 ost selection (5 choices)
*included button usage for L/R/X
*L allows player to strafe with gun in last pointed position (will not work aiming up or laying down, since the original game doesn't allow you to run like that)
*R allows player to stand still and shoot in all directions (minus down, since you have to be in mid jump to shoot downward)
*two things: 1, players can now hold 2 guns, just like in Contra III. 2, X allows player to cycle between both guns
