I walked away from Control thoroughly enjoying it and feeling very introspective about what was so wonderful about, and how I almost gave up on the game entirely on the very cusp of the very best parts of this genius game. It's difficult to explain how the game is so special while addressing how it makes so many missteps along the way, and how the crucial mistakes were very closely mirrored by its best and most necessary choices.
