Redmi 3s comes with a 13mp camera with f2.0 aperture and a
5Mp camera with f2.2 aperture on the front
Color rep
Color rep is same on both the cameras but the images in note 5 are to the warmer side which makes few pictures bad.
In few situations n5 performs better in color rep but it's not consistent.
Dynamic range, sharpness and blacks are better on note 5,
Note 5 has the added advantage of wide angle lens
Both cameras struggle to focus macro shots but once they do,
coolpad does a better job with bokeh effect and depth of field
Selfies
For selfies Both the cameras have equally wide angle lenses and produce equally sharp images.
Beauty mode in Redmi is better than coolpad
Coolpad note 5 pictures are much brighter and has better dynamic range
when compared to Redmi which produce darker images
Low light
In low light
Note 5s brighter, sharper and wider lenses makes the images very much pleasing than Redmi's images.
Though Redmi maintains better colors and better white balance I like Coolpad note 5's images
Video
While recording video
Coolpad footage looks better because of the wide angle lens and better color reproduction
dynamic range and exposure shift are better than Redmi
Stabilization is same on both the phones
There is only one thing bad about the note 5's camera, it over sharps the footage,
and except that it's the best camera for video rec for the price
Front camera
Even while recording videos using front camera, Coolpad Is better
Conclusion
Note 5's cameras are a better than r3s's with few compromises over the image processing.
Note 5 carries better details and much brighter images when compared to 3s's.
3s is better than n5's camera in few aspects, but it can't take better pictures than n5.
all bugs from n5's camera can be fixed with a update which will make the images even better.
